UK Theme Parks Apps Performance in Q1 2021 on Android

As the first quarter of 2021 wraps up, we at Sensor Tower have taken a dive into the performance of the top five theme park applications on Android in the United Kingdom. The data provides interesting insights into how these apps have fared in terms of downloads and active users.
My Disney Experience saw a fluctuating trend in downloads, starting the quarter with 200 downloads and peaking at 400 in late February before settling back to 200 by the end of March. Weekly active users showed a declining trend, from 800 at the beginning of the period to 600 by the end of March.
NBCUniversal Media, LLC's Universal Orlando Resort experienced a steady increase in downloads from 100 in late December to 200 in late February, then slightly declining to 100 by the end of March. Active users remained fairly consistent, with a slight decrease from 1,400 to 1,200 over the quarter.
The Alton Towers Resort - Official app had a late start in the quarter with no downloads recorded until mid-February, but quickly ramped up to 100 downloads per week. Active users gradually increased from 100 in mid-February to close to 300 by the end of March.
Disneyland® Paris saw an initial spike in downloads, from under 100 to 100 in late February, but experienced a decline to just 20 by the end of March. Active users started at 200, peaked at 300 in early March, and then decreased to under 300 towards the end of the quarter.
Lastly, Play Disney Parks maintained a relatively low and steady download rate, hovering around 50 downloads per week throughout the quarter. Active users saw a peak of 100 in early March but generally stayed around the 100 mark throughout the quarter.
